Time for Allah provides prayer times, Qibla direction, daily Quran content, nearby mosque search, notifications, widgets and a prayer guide. No account is required.
Data used on the device
The app stores preferences such as language, theme, notification settings, calculation method, Quran translation source and any manually selected location on your device. Prayer-time and widget caches are also stored locally. The app does not use this information for advertising or tracking.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions, free-trial eligibility, billing and purchase history are processed by Apple through the App Store. The app reads Apple-verified transaction status only to determine whether Premium access is active. Dolph1n does not receive or store your payment-card details.
Location
With permission, the app uses precise location while the app is in use to calculate prayer times, show Qibla direction and find nearby mosques. Coordinates or location-derived search data may be sent to the relevant service only to answer your request. A manually selected location can be used instead. The app does not request background or Always location access.
Third-party services
Depending on the selected feature and available provider, the app may contact Apple Maps/Core Location, AlAdhan, Diyanet, AlQuran Cloud, Quran.com, QuranEnc, OpenStreetMap/Overpass and Google Places. These providers process requests under their own privacy policies. Google Places is used only when an API key is configured.
Notifications and widgets
Prayer and daily verse notifications are scheduled through Apple’s local notification system. Notification preferences and widget content are stored locally and in the app’s private App Group container.
Data sale, advertising and tracking
The app contains no advertising or analytics SDK, does not track users across apps or websites, and does not sell personal data.
Retention and deletion
Local preferences and caches remain on the device until changed, cleared by the app, or the app is deleted. The developer does not operate a user-account database for the app. Requests sent to third-party providers may be retained according to those providers’ policies.
Children
The app is not designed to collect personal information from children and does not provide social or user-generated content features.
